Job summary

BLOX, LLC is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support setup, leveling, alignment, and adjustment of adjustable welding jig tables on the manufacturing floor. The role ensures dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and quality of manufactured components.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in millwright or related trades with strong mechanical aptitudes and experience reading drawings and using precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in millwright, mechanical assembly, fabrication, welding, machine setup, or related skilled trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
• Ability to use precision measurement tools and understand tolerances.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting, and maneuvering.

Responsibilities

• Set up, level, align, and adjust welding jig tables according to production requirements and drawings.
• Use precision measurement equipment to verify elevation, level, square, alignment, and dimensions.
• Inspect tables, rods, adjustment mechanisms, and fixtures for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, repair, replace, and adjust components as needed.
• Verify table setup and condition before releasing to production.
• Assist Production, Quality, and Engineering in resolving setup and dimensional issues.
• Fabricate or modify brackets, supports, and fixtures as needed.
• Move and position tables safely using lifting/movement equipment.
• Develop and maintain standardized setup and inspection practices.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, adjustments, and conditions.
• Follow BLOX safety policies including Lockout/Tagout as applicable.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and participate in 5S.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
