You’ll translate drawings and models into impeccably built jigs, fixtures, and tooling—moving fluidly between fabrication, assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting. It’s hands-on, detail-obsessed work with weekly payroll and overtime currently available.A day in the shopReview customer prints, GD&T, and 3D CAD to plan your build—identify reference points, locate tooling holes, and define datums.Cut, fit, and finish components using manual lathes, Bridgeport mills, and grinders; prepare simple fabrication sketches as needed.Assemble jigs and fixtures to exacting specifications; verify critical dimensions with precision metrology tools.Inspect completed assemblies for function and accuracy; repair or rework legacy tooling when required.Team up with engineers and fellow builders to resolve fit, tolerance stack-up, and assembly issues while keeping a clean, safe, and organized workspace.What you bring3–5 years building precision jigs and fixtures with strong blueprint-reading ability and working knowledge of GD&T.Comfort reading 3D CAD models and confirming dimensions/tolerances with precision measurement and hand metrology tools.Manual machining proficiency (mills, lathes, grinders) preferred.Solid shop math, creative problem-solving, clear communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Compensation & benefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance100% company-paid life, accident, and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and PTOWeekly pay; overtime is currently availableEmployment eligibilityDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status is required.
