Crane Currency in Dalton, MA, seeks an Instrumentation & Calibration Technician to maintain and calibrate manufacturing equipment. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and keep systems safe and compliant in a fast-paced production setting.

The role requires basic math, electronics/pneumatics knowledge, and ability to read schematics. You will work with PLC/HMI tools and test equipment, with on-call duties including night shift as a trainee.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Understanding of electronics and pneumatics.
• Able to read schematics and blueprints.
• Proficient with PC software: Windows, Word, Excel.
• Willing to provide 24-hour on-call and be on the night call list as a trainee.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, servicing, and adjustments on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain the facility, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and infrastructure to support a safe work environment.
• Record maintenance activities, ensure safety compliance, and support audits with documentation.
