Job summary

Event Staffing in Atlanta seeks an experienced Instrument Technician to install, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair instruments and control systems in our production facilities. The role requires reading schematics and maintaining instruments with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize instrument performance, perform routine maintenance, keep detailed maintenance records, and comply with industry codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Instrument Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and electrical circuits.
• Able to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards for instrumentation installation and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instruments and control valves.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on instruments.
• Diagnose and resolve control-system issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize instrument performance.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.
