Job summary

Accelera in Sparks, MD is seeking an experienced assembler to handle a range of electromechanical assemblies. You will follow diagrams, perform wiring, hand soldering, testing, and adjustments to tight tolerances on production units.

You will work with multiple product lines, document serial numbers, and contribute to continuous improvement and GMP compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a regulated environment is required.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement focus.
• Excellent reading of drawings and measurement of dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and understand the assembly process for instruments.
• Assemble multiple product lines including integration of sub-assemblies.
• Provide device history records for serial numbers and tools.
• Perform basic component testing for pre-assemblies.
• Identify defects and recommend design/process improvements.
• Read and follow drawings and work instructions.
• Provide training to associates and troubleshoot tasks.
• Maintain GMP compliance and safety; collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning and Purchasing.
