Job summary

The Inspector/Packer role at Rust Belt Recruiting in Euclid, OH supports daily plant production by performing dimensional, physical, and visual inspections of manufactured metal parts before shipment. The position requires basic math, use of calipers, and attention to detail in a fast-paced shop.

You will package finished products for shipping, perform cycle counts, receive materials, log results in the quality system, and assist with audits and general labor tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with metal fabrication or inspection is a plus.
• Ability to read prints and measure with calipers accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, physical, and visual inspections of manufactured metal parts.
• Package finished products safely for shipping, including boxing and labeling.
• Receive incoming materials, purchased parts, and fasteners.
• Perform cycle counts, weight counts, and inventory audits.
• Utilize the company quality management system to log inspection results.
• Assist team members in developing and executing process or part audits.
• Execute general labor and production tasks assigned by management.
