Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Inspector III to perform final inspections and First Article Inspections on complex mechanical and electronic assemblies. You will use precision tools, read blueprints, and apply IPC‑A‑610 standards while documenting findings and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• IPC‑A‑610 Certification is required.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience with at least 1 year internal inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting PC Boards and electronic assemblies.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics and use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections and qualified inspection steps to confirm tolerances and performance.
• Inspect PC boards, electronic assemblies, and components for correct assembly and specs.
• Use micrometers, radius gauges, calipers and other tools to verify dimensions.
• Perform First Article Inspections on complex parts and document results.
• Enter and track nonconformances in TIPQA and maintain records.
• Support and mentor other inspectors and assist with Oracle MRP transactions.
• Keep workspace and documentation organized and follow safety and quality processes.
