Job summary

Haas Automation, Inc. is seeking an Inspector 2 in Oxnard, CA to perform machine shop and receiving inspection under supervision. The role requires translating blueprints, using shop math, and operating inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, surface plates, and profilometers.

Qualifications

Understanding of shop math, geometry and related trigonometry for 90 degree calculations.
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions accurately.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license for safe operation.

Responsibilities

Follows instructions and translates dimensions from blueprints using shop math.
Operates inspection equipment (micrometer, calipers, profilometer) with accuracy.
Updates inspection data in SAP and MRB documentation.
Coordinates calibration POs to keep tools available and records complete.
