Job summary

Narda-MITEQ in Hauppauge, NY is hiring a Quality Inspector to verify machined and purchased components meet drawings and specifications. You will review BOMs and specs and determine acceptance or rejection based on quality standards.

You will use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), maintain logs, and ensure compliance with Mil Specs, IPC-A-610 and MIL-STD-883. Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years relevant inspection experience, or 2-year degree with 2 years experience.
• Follows established processes and escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.
• Knowledge of Mil Specs IPC-A-610 and MIL-STD-883.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to ensure drawings and specifications compliance.
• Use caliper, micrometer and other gauges for measurements.
• Review documentation and perform sampling of components and materials.
• Maintain inspection logs and records.
• Assist in ensuring materials meet company and test standards.
