Job summary

Control Devices, LLC is seeking a QA Visual Inspector for our Quality department in Fenton, MO. The role focuses on visual inspections of machined and assembled components, recording results, and ensuring conformance with blueprints and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months of inspection experience, and the ability to use calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential in this hourly, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of quality inspection or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent visual inspection abilities and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with production teams and lift up to 35 lb.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections on machined and assembled components.
• Identify, document, and contain nonconforming product.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
• Communicate quality requirements and inspection findings with production personnel.
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure tools are clean and in proper order.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
