Job summary

Micross is seeking a quality Inspector to perform inline inspections under a microscope, monitor machines, and translate specifications into work steps. You will follow diagrams, prints, and other documentation, ensuring process conformity while maintaining a safe, clean environment and compliance with ITAR.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience operating automated and manual equipment in manufacturing; experience in an ESD setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating automated and manual equipment in manufacturing.
• Experience in an ESD setting preferred.
• Familiarity with JESD 625 – JEDEC standard handling requirements.
• Knowledge of J-STD-001 soldered assemblies and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inline inspections under a microscope and monitor machines for optimum operation.
• Work from diagrams, prints, specifications, and other written documentation.
• Translate customer specifications and drawings into actionable work steps.
• Ensure process conformance through required inspections.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety procedures.
• Participate in meetings to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Follow clean room and environmental precautions.
• Perform other duties to maintain workflow and meet schedules.
