Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is hiring for an Injection Molding Operator in Brownsville, TX. Responsibilities include inspecting, cutting, trimming, and packing pipe fittings produced by injection molding machines; ensuring correct labels and packaging; and maintaining a clean, organized 5S-certified workspace.

The role supports training of new personnel and requires basic English proficiency and math skills. High school diploma or equivalent is required; manufacturing experience is a plus but not

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferred (not required).
• Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills and counting ability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, cut, trim, and pack pipe fittings produced by injection molding machines.
• Identify fittings by name, shape, and dimension; verify accuracy of labels and packaging.
• Maintain 5S standards; keep work area clean and organized; perform daily 5S audits.
• Assist with changeovers; ensure proper line clearance and start-up with efficiency in mind.
• Train new Injection Molding personnel as needed; support supervisors and QA.
• Maintain accurate production line paperwork in real time.
• Escalate machine-related issues to Mold Technician or supervisor as needed.
