Qualifications

• Experience painting heavy equipment, automobiles, or related items preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and industrial-grade coatings preferred.
• Proficiency with spray equipment, including spray patterns, coating thickness, and drying times.
• Ability to identify and resolve common paint defects.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for maintaining spray guns and related equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on professional, long-lasting finishes.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings with HVLP spray guns, airless sprayers, and brushes to achieve uniform coverage on components of all sizes.
• Perform multi-coat systems, including primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes built for industrial durability.
• Mix and match paints, coatings, and finishes to precise specifications, adjusting viscosity, color, and texture as needed.
• Learn and apply all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for surface prep and painting.
• Maintain working knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals and lubricants.
• Clean, sand, mask, and prime surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion and a flawless final coat.
