Job summary

Express Employment Professionals – Midland, TX is seeking an Industrial Painter to prepare metal surfaces, apply primers and coatings, and operate spray equipment. You will mix paints, inspect finished work for quality, and perform touch-ups as needed.

The ideal candidate has industrial painting experience, knowledge of surface prep, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy in a fast‑paced shop environment. Weekly pay and benefits are offered through the agency.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial painting experience preferred.
• Experience with spray painting and coating metal surfaces.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and proper paint application.
• Ability to use grinders, sanders, spray guns, and other related tools.
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled hours and overtime as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must be able to meet client safety and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and other preparation methods.
• Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to industrial equipment and components.
• Operate spray guns and other industrial painting equipment.
• Mix paints and coatings according to specifications.
• Inspect finished surfaces for proper coverage and quality.
• Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed.
• Maintain painting equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Work effectively with other shop personnel to meet production deadlines.
