Job summary

You will apply coatings with HVLP guns and brushes, maintain equipment, inspect parts, and collaborate with the motors team to meet deadlines. Prior experience with industrial coatings and surface prep is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience painting heavy equipment or industrial components.
• Knowledge of surface prep techniques and industrial coatings.
• Proficiency with spray equipment and understanding of coatings.
• Ability to identify paint defects and ensure quality.
• Able to work 40 hours per week; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings with spray guns, brushes to achieve uniform coverage.
• Perform multi-coat systems with primers and topcoats.
• Mix paints to precise specifications.
• Follow SOPs for surface prep and painting.
• Maintain SDS knowledge and safety practices.
• Inspect incoming parts for defects before painting.
• Inspect finished parts and correct flaws.
• Ensure coatings meet thickness and specs.
• Operate lifts and maintain equipment safety.
• Track paint usage and color formulas.
• Store flammable materials properly.
• Collaborate with motors team to meet deadlines.
