Job summary

STS Technical Services is seeking Painters in Liberty, Missouri for a full-time role in a manufacturing environment. The Painter is responsible for applying paint and finishes using spray equipment while ensuring quality standards through proper surface preparation, paint mixing, and equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on painting experience and a strong attention to detail. Experience in automotive or industrial painting settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of painting experience in automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Comfortable using spray equipment and performing light bodywork.

Responsibilities

• Apply primer, paint and touch-up coatings using spray equipment.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, washing and conditioning.
• Inspect work before, during and after painting for quality.
