You’ll work from drawings to ensure exact tolerances and safety compliance before deployment, directly impacting production reliability and operator safety.

This contract role requires hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, industrial wiring, precision measurement, and welding.

Qualifications

• Experience building industrial machinery and reading mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in industrial electrical wiring from schematics.
• Familiar with OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout.
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, frames, and subassemblies per drawings and build instructions.
• Perform industrial electrical wiring, including routing, terminations, and panel wiring on machinery.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to ensure specifications and customer requirements.
• Fabricate parts and structures using cutting, forming, and welding as needed.
• Apply OSHA safety standards during all build activities, including lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Diagnose and correct assembly or wiring issues and rework to achieve proper function and safety.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to clarify build requirements and support improvement.
