Job summary

SelecSource is hiring an Incoming Inspector to join our Quality Control team in Lyons, GA. You will inspect all incoming cans and ends for defects, document findings, and report critical issues to the QC Laboratory Supervisor.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience, basic math and good communication skills. You must be able to multitask with minimal supervision and work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming cans and ends for defects and document findings.
• Report critical defects to the QC Laboratory Supervisor.
• Provide necessary information for identifying defective pallets.
• Verify incoming labels and report discrepancies.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis and inspection of held finished goods.
• Collect additional samples as needed for investigation reports.
• Rotate within the Quality Control Department as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company policies, food safety requirements, and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
