Job summary

TekWissen Group in Park City, UT is seeking an ID/OD Machinist to operate CNC and manual grinders in the ID/OD Grind Department. This onsite, full-time role focuses on producing high-precision parts to tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3–5 years’ experience, and solid skills in blueprint reading, shop math, and using precision measuring tools. Familiarity with lean manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of CNC ID/OD grinding experience.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Shop math skills.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and Manual OD and ID grind equipment with minimal supervision.
• Grinding of splined shafts and aircraft gears holding tolerances of .0001"-.0005".
• Basic Maintenance of CNC Grinders.
• Use precision measurement equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation of SPC data.
• Consistently produce quality parts.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.
