Job summary

TekWissen is assisting Client Gear Systems in Park City, UT by recruiting an experienced ID/OD Machinist to operate CNC ID/OD grinders in the Grind Department. The ideal candidate will set up and operate CNC and manual grinders, achieve tight tolerances, and maintain SPC documentation while adhering to lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance of grinders, grinding of splined shafts and aircraft gears to tolerances of .0001"-.0005", and maintaining quality records

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of CNC/ID&OD grinding experience.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual OD and ID grinding equipment.
• Grind splined shafts and aircraft gears to tight tolerances.
• Perform basic maintenance on CNC grinders.
• Use precision measuring tools and document SPC data.
• Maintain clean, accurate records and support lean manufacturing.
