Job summary

Omega Foundation Services, LLC. is seeking a Hydro Excavation Technician to operate equipment safely and perform non-destructive digging to expose underground utilities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and maintenance while working in various environments. Responsibilities include operating hydro excavation trucks, conducting equipment inspections, and collaborating with project teams. A valid driver’s license is required, and a CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• Previous hydro excavation, construction, or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of underground utility locating and excavation.
• Ability to operate vacuum excavation equipment safely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hydro excavation trucks and vacuum systems.
• Perform non-destructive excavation around utilities.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Follow OSHA and safety protocols.
• Assist with various excavation tasks.
• Complete daily job and equipment reports.
