The machinist will set up equipment, inspect parts, and collaborate with technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Operate manual and CNC machines to produce hydraulic components to tight tolerances.
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect dimensions and verify tolerances.
• Perform thread cutting, boring, welding prep, and surface finishing as required.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area and follow safety policies.
• Document completed work and communicate part status to customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to machine hydraulic components.
• Machine and fabricate parts used in hydraulic cylinder and component repairs.
• Inspect, measure, and verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
• Repair or restore worn hydraulic components to proper tolerances and specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and patterns to machine parts that meet quality standards.
• Document completed work, measurements, and materials used during repair processes.
