Job summary

Hydraulic Technologies is seeking a 1st shift machinist. You will set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts, reading blueprints and ensuring tolerances. Proficiency with micrometers, CMMs, and SAP is preferred. This role supports lean manufacturing and may include training other staff.

The position offers flexible hours with part-time availability and requires 2–4 years of machining experience along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Proficiency with CNC and manual machining operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools.
• Load programs and perform dry-run verifications when applicable.
• Make offset adjustments to machines for part accuracy.
• Inspect parts with precision tools and document SPC data.
• Read work orders and select proper tooling and setups.
• Assist with process improvements and lean initiatives.
• Train coworkers as needed.
