Job summary

The Armor Group is seeking a skilled powder coating painter to perform advanced work on interior and exterior surfaces. You will clean and prepare paint surfaces, mix paints, and follow manufacturer specifications to ensure a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities include surface prep, sanding, painting, PPE usage, equipment handling, and proper storage and disposal of supplies in an indoor environment where you stand, walk, and bend as parts are painted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2+ years of powder coating experience.
• Must know how to wear PPE and maintain a clean work area.
• Must know how to use a HVLP spray gun and related painting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing paint surfaces.
• Sanding surfaces when needed.
• Mixing paint according to specifications.
• Wearing PPE such as mask, hood, and gloves.
• Moving materials with forklift or by hand.
• Hanging and unhanging products for painting.
• Proper storage of paint supplies and disposal of paint residue.
