Job summary

The Product Technician I – Hubcap Assembly at Enpro in Longview, TX supports day-to-day production operations in the assembly area. You will assemble components, follow standard work, and inspect work to ensure quality while identifying defects.

You’ll work with a team to meet production targets, participate in continuous improvement, and maintain a clean, safe workspace following 5S principles. A high school diploma or GED and 1+ year manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Experience in mechanical or component assembly environments.
• Familiarity with standard work, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations following standard work and safety procedures.
• Assemble components and sub-assemblies using tools, fixtures, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished and in-process work to identify defects and ensure conformance.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency in assembly processes.
• Use basic measurement tools and visual inspection to verify quality.
• Accurately complete production tracking and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality targets.
