Job summary

Enprotech, LLC is seeking a skilled assembler/repair technician for our Lansing, MI facility. The role involves disassembling and repairing large equipment per assembly procedures, verifying parts to blueprints, and aligning components using cranes and precision tools.

You will install piping and assist in testing completed products. Qualifications include solid mechanical ability, own tools, ability to read prints, and comfort with cranes and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical skills and ability to use cranes and heavy tools daily.
• Own your tools of the trade and use them effectively.
• Ability to interpret assembly prints and determine disassembly sequence.
• Capable of using small machine tools, welders, cranes, and forklifts.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic shop math.
• Able to communicate with team members, supervisors, and engineers.
• Must have physical strength to safely handle heavy equipment.
• Ability to bend tubing, lube hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Creates plans for disassembly and repair per procedures and specifications.
• Verifies parts conformance to blueprints using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Aligns components for assembly and tests machine functionality.
• Forms, bends, and fastens piping and fixtures for air, water, and oil supply.
• Installs moving parts and test assemblies for operation.
• Mounts and connects auxiliary equipment and piping as needed.
• Tests or assists in testing the completed product.
