Job summary

Hose Master, LLC in United States, GA is seeking a manufacturing/welding associate to read blueprints and work orders, verify quantities and hose lengths, and inspect fittings. You will perform skilled welding per AMP/RPM procedures, learn materials via instruction, and maintain logs to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
Basic welding experience required.
Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
Good basic math skills.
Knowledge of standard tools, material and practices of welding trades.
Knowledge of hose and fittings.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
Verify orders for correct quantity and hose length.
Perform inspection for correct hose and appropriate fittings.
Determine correct alloy to be applied to all welds.
Perform skilled welding – following standardized procedure for AMP and RPM.
Learn job related material primarily through oral instruction and observation.
Visually inspect completed welds to determine compliance with standards.
Check quality and appearance of finished hose.
Make appropriate repairs to assemblies that do not meet standards.
Maintain daily production logs.
Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self and others.
Work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality product.
Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
