Job summary

Wilson-Workforce-Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated Horizontal Mill Machinist to join our client's team in Burgettstown, PA. You will set up and operate horizontal milling machines, read blueprints, and ensure precision in every part.

This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Day shifts with potential overtime; competitive wages and a benefits package including 100% paid medical, dental and vision.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Strong math skills including algebra and geometry.
• Commitment to safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of machining experience or completion of a relevant trade school program.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and CAM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret job packets and setup instructions for various projects.
• Secure workpieces using clamps, shims, and other tooling setups.
• Identify, locate, and load materials with cranes and fork trucks.
• Load and verify CNC programs; perform test runs and edits as needed.
• Write basic CNC programs and edit CAM programs.
• Monitor speeds, feeds, and tolerances during machining.
• Document and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Deburr, clean, and finish parts to required standards.
• Unload finished products and prepare for next production stage.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Report machine or consumable issues promptly.
