Job summary

Valley Forge & Bolt Mfg on the Phoenix production floor is seeking a Heat Treating Operator to support steel parts hardening and tempering processes. The role requires following procedures, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality, with safety as a priority.

Applicants must pass a drug test; a strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team are essential. Day-to-day tasks include equipment monitoring and safe work practices; MTI Training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of heat treating processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heat treating equipment to harden and temper steel parts.
• Follow established procedures to ensure the quality of the finished product.
• Conduct tests to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Monitor equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
