Job summary

AtWork Group in Charlotte, NC seeks a Heat Seal Operator to set up and operate dielectric heat-sealing/RF welding equipment, creating strong seams on vinyl and fabric components. This full-time role requires attention to detail and reliability.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Ability to read work orders, part numbers, measurements, and basic production information.
• Ability to read numbers and understand production documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation and setup.
• Ability to identify quality issues and material defects.

Responsibilities

• Review daily work orders, production instructions, part numbers, and quantities.
• Set up and operate dielectric heat-sealing/RF welding equipment.
• Adjust machine settings including sealing time, pressure, power, temperature, and cycle controls.
• Prepare, position, align, and smooth materials before sealing.
• Use dies, electrodes, guides, and fixtures to create accurate seams.
• Operate machinery safely and follow all required safety procedures.
• Inspect finished seams for bond strength, alignment, appearance, and quality.
• Identify and report issues such as weak seams, burn marks, material sticking, overheating, arcing, or inconsistent seals.
• Stack and stage finished parts carefully to prevent damage.
