Job summary

IFB Solutions in Asheville, NC is seeking a Seam Sealer to operate the seam sealer and follow established work, quality and safety procedures. The role requires attention to detail, ability to sit for long periods, and cooperation with the team on the production line.

The position includes on-the-job training, with prior manufacturing experience preferred. Overtime may be required to meet production schedules in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training is provided.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly seal all seams of product, assuring tape is centered over seams and no puckers/pleats are allowed to form.
• Make repairs as apparent or as pointed out by the seam sealer lead or supervisor, pressers or inspectors.
• Follow vendor’s recommendations as to operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Notify seam sealer lead or supervisor of any problems or concerns regarding product or procedures.
