Job summary

Benchmark is seeking a dedicated hand solderer to assemble electronic boards in our Huntsville facility. You will hand solder components and use solder machines as required, following documented instructions and schematic drawings.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with basic math, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced production environment. Shift 1, M-F 0700-1530, safety and quality are our top priorities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.
• Demonstrate strong component recognition skills.
• Ability to read and understand schematic drawings, process and manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering electronic components on boards per documented instructions and schematic drawings.
• Prints Dispatch List and determines priority based on production guidelines.
• Obtain and verify paperwork and drawings for each job assignment.
• Inspect solder connections and clip excess leads as needed.
