Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. in Rochester, MN seeks a full-time production technician to hand solder and operate solder machines, assembling electronic boards according to documented instructions and schematics.

You will inspect solder connections, manage components from kits, and trace boards through the manufacturing process while maintaining quality and safety standards. Shift 1, M–Th 05:30–16:00; compensation includes benefits and a safety-sensitive drug-screen policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Completed General Production Procedures Training.

Responsibilities

• Hand solder components on boards per instructions and schematics.
• Inspect solder connections and trim excess leads.
• Route boards to next facility per manufacturing order.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow ESD procedures.
• Record labor and WIP data and report daily throughput.
