ELLWOOD Crankshaft Group in Hermitage, PA is seeking a full-time Machinist I. This non-exempt position may require overtime, weekends and rotating shifts as needed. Ideal candidates have machining experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities include setup and operation of grinding machines, reading blueprints, maintaining safety and quality records, and supporting productivity goals in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with general computer applications.
• Excellent organizational skills and results orientation.
• Proficient at operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Set-up and operate one or more grinding machines for grinding surfaces to specification.
• Set-up equipment according to product blueprints with minimal supervision.
• Start and stop machinery; verify conformance using gauges and micrometers.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of equipment and work area.
• Support productivity and process-related goals.
