Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division seeks an Industrial Grinder on the 1st shift in Sherman, TX. Core hours are Monday–Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm, with an hourly rate of $20.21.

You will grind and polish metal, operate spot welding equipment, run samples, check prints, and record time in SAP. The role requires basic computer skills and may include overtime and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Reside within Sherman, TX area; no relocation.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration visas for this position.

Responsibilities

• Grind and polish metal.
• Operate spot welding equipment and weld parts according to specifications.
• Run samples and check product quality against prints.
• Adjust spot welder for material thickness and finish.
• Perform quality checks, fill daily activity reports, and enter time in SAP.
