Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Commercial Spot Welder on 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) in Sherman, TX. The position offers $20.21 per hour base plus $1.20 per hour shift differential. You will grind and polish metal, operate spot welding equipment, inspect welds against prints, adjust weld settings, and document activity in SAP.

Flexibility for overtime and a focus on safety are essential. Required: high school diploma or GED; must live within the Sherman area; no immigration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must reside in Sherman, TX area with no relocation benefit.
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Grind and polish metal.
• Use spot welding equipment and weld parts per specifications.
• Run samples and inspect quality against prints.
• Adjust spot welder for material thickness and finish.
• Perform quality checks and enter time in SAP.
• Change welding tips as needed and perform 5S & CI activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
