Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to work at extreme heights or small confined spaces.
• Must be able to perform overhead work.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and pass a respirator fit test.
• Must be able to work indoors/outdoors year round in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.
• Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test.
• Blueprint reading is highly desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate turning, surface, and grinding machines to grind flat or contoured surfaces.
• Read blueprints and use precision instruments to verify dimensions.
• Collaborate with quality control to troubleshoot dimensional or finish issues.
• Set up and operate precision surface grinding machines for exact tolerances.
• Measure and verify work using micrometers, calipers and other precision tools.
