Job summary

The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC, is seeking a Golf Course Equipment Operator to maintain the course to world-class standards. You will operate course machinery, supervise debris removal, and assist with turf management to ensure optimal playing conditions.

Responsibilities include raking traps, mowing greens and tees, trimming with Flymo and Weed Eater, and performing routine maintenance on gear. A valid SC driver’s license and experience with small equipment are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; and one or more years work experience desired.
• S.C. driver's license required.
• Ability to use small machines, machine tools, and hand tools.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Operates golf course equipment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
• Rakes sand traps and walk-mows greens and tees.
• Uses Flymo and Weed Eater to trim course.
• Cleans debris from course and operates backpack blowers to remove debris.
• Places sod as needed.
• Cleans and lubricates equipment after use.
