Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing, a defense contractor in North Wales, PA, seeks an experienced Gauge Technician to calibrate and maintain gauges and precision measuring equipment on the factory floor and in administration. You will manage calibration records, coordinate with external vendors, and ensure traceability to ISO 17025 standards.

Ideal candidates read engineering drawings and GD&T, and apply micrometers, calipers, and control gauges with accuracy, supporting production, quality, and engineering

Qualifications

• Experience with precision measuring equipment in manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with calibration processes and ISO standards.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the gauge and calibration program to keep equipment accurate.
• Coordinate calibration services with external vendors and scheduling.
• Maintain calibration records, due dates, and equipment histories.
• Monitor calibration schedules and flag equipment nearing due dates.
• Verify equipment is identified, documented, and returned to service.
