Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing, a defense contractor in North Wales, PA, seeks a Quality Manager to lead the QMS and ensure products meet military, ISO, and customer specs. You will guide testing, inspection, and metrology activities, driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate has defense/aerospace experience, strong leadership, and deep expertise in precision metrology, CMM programming, GD&T, and SPC to support a high-accuracy production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of quality leadership in precision manufacturing; defense/aerospace preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience leading quality personnel.
• Extensive hands-on metrology equipment experience.
• Experience programming, operating, and validating CMMs with PC-DMIS/Calypso/MCOSMOS.
• Strong GD&T interpretation and knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Supervise resources involved in dimensional inspection, metrology, and verification.
• Oversee metrology operations, calibration, and equipment maintenance.
• Develop and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS/Calypso/MCOSMOS.
