Job summary

Martinic Engineering Inc. is seeking a Gauge and Calibration Technician in Tolleson, AZ to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measuring instruments.

You will calibrate, test, maintain, and repair gauges, meters, and test instruments to ensure precise and consistent measurements. Responsibilities include setting up gauges for production, maintaining calibration records, managing inventory, and inspecting tools for readiness.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a gauge technician or calibration technician with knowledge of relevant industry standards.
• Strong understanding of precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Proficiency in using calibration equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with calibration software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up gauges to support production needs.
• Maintain the Calibration System per all customer and regulatory requirements.
• Receive and dispense supplies and tools as required to operations personnel.
• Verify needs and requisition supplies and materials to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Maintain inventories of tooling and gauges and keep records up to date.
• Inspect and prepare gauges/tools for inspection or repair as needed.
• Deliver gauge set-ups to designated areas.
• Identify and prepare incoming gauges for inspection.
• Maintain the crib area and keep it organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
