Job summary

Katalyst-Healthcares- is seeking an experienced calibration specialist to calibrate, inspect, and verify precision measuring tools and gages. You will maintain calibration records and ensure traceability across inspection equipment, supporting quality audits and manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in metrology with hands-on experience using micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gages and other gages, and can read engineering drawings and tolerances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, gage control, or precision inspection.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional inspection equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, tolerances, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, inspect, and verify precision measuring tools and production gages.
• Work with micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gages, pin/plug gages, and thread gages.
• Maintain calibration records, equipment status, and measurement traceability.
• Identify and elevate damaged or out-of-tolerance equipment.
• Perform and verify part marking, including part numbers and serial numbers.
• Verify marking accuracy, location, legibility, and traceability against drawings and work instructions.
• Support Quality and Manufacturing teams with gage control and measurement requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality audits.
