Job summary

Cross Technologies Inc. is seeking a Calibration Technician responsible for performing quality calibrations across multiple disciplines and ensuring adherence to corporate standards.

The role includes on-site preparation, documentation, and final quality inspections. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of precision measurement equipment, proficiency with gage management software, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of a wide variety of precision measurement equipment and instrumentation.
• Proficient in gage management software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Associates Degree in a technical discipline preferred; Instrumentation/Industrial/Mechanical/Electronics examples.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality calibrations across core disciplines including Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Vibration, Mass, Electrical, Electronics, Time, Frequency, RF, Torque, and Force.
• Prepare for on-sites by reviewing equipment lists and procedures.
• Ensure calibration stickers, PMD work orders, worksheets, and tags are ready; may download customer data to on-site laptop.
• Keep all tools and equipment in calibration and in good condition.
• Complete certificates of calibration and provide original data worksheets for Quality inspection.
• Perform quality inspection of calibrated equipment as approved by Quality Manager.
• Complete certificates within 48 hours of job completion.
• Maintain safety and customer-service mindset; uphold attendance and work ethic.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager.
