Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. seeks an Experienced Machine Operator for a Formax National Header with Thread roller on 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm). The role pays $34/hour, and you will operate, set up, and maintain high-precision forming equipment to produce components to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, aligning dies, adjusting tools, and ensuring quality through in-process checks. A strong focus on safety and a clean work environment is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Prior machine operator experience preferred.
• Prior gauge experience preferred.
• Tow motor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start, run, monitor, and shut down a progressive header safely and efficiently.
• Read part drawings, specifications, tolerances, and work instructions.
• Install, align and adjust dies, punches, cutters, and transfer components for proper part formation.
• Identify and correct issues such as misfeeds, tool wear, dimensional variation, jams, and abnormal machine behavior.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace and follow health and safety regulations.
