You will read blueprints, set up presses, perform routine maintenance, inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, and collaborate with team while maintaining safety and accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate forging press machines to produce components.
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload materials.
• Monitor operations and adjust to ensure quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers for quality.
• Troubleshoot press machinery issues and resolve as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with team to optimize production and meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
