Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow USDA, HACCP, GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and equipment.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel throughout the production area as needed.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to meeting production and quality expectations.
• Ability to wear required PPE and report to workstations on time.
• Flexibility to work overtime and support different production lines or assignments.

Responsibilities

• Place ingredients and product components accurately according to recipe and production specifications.
• Inspect components throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Handle ingredients and materials according to USDA, HACCP, food safety, and plant guidelines.
• Ensure products conform to recipe specifications and proper ingredient placement requirements.
• Follow GMPs, safety regulations, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Understand and utilize the lugger system appropriately.
• Properly use designated disposal containers and related equipment.
• Support production line operations to meet production goals and schedules.
• Assist with changeovers and sanitation activities as required.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety protocols.
• Dispose of gloves, hairnets, smocks, and other materials properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and report issues to leadership.
• Work on various production lines or assignments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leaders and Production Leadership.
