Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is hiring for a full-time sanitation and line sanitation role in Austin, TX. You will remove waste to designated bins, keep production areas clean, and ensure GMPs, PPE, and USDA guidelines are followed at all times.

The role involves operating cleaning equipment, moving parts safely, and cooperating with the production team. The position requires English literacy, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, read, and write English (Bilingual Preferred).
• Stand, reach and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Works well with others; ability to meet production demands with minimal supervision.
• Understands and can demonstrate workable knowledge of chemical usage/cleaning.
• Evaluation of performance within first 100 hours of starting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure waste is disposed of in designated bins and sanitation is maintained.
• Perform daily operational cleaning of lines between breaks to prevent cross contamination.
• Minimize water use during cleaning to control overspray and ensure equipment is properly covered.
• Disassemble/assemble equipment for cleaning and store parts properly.
• Follow lock out tag out procedures and adhere to GMPs/USDA guidelines.
