Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in West Chester, OH is seeking a Folder/Gluer Operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up and operate the folder/gluer, review production master, maintain records, and ensure on-time completion while meeting quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior experience on the Folder/Gluer; starting pay is $26.49 per hour plus shift differential, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED minimum.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must have prior experience on the Folder/Gluer.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the machine, review production master, keep records.
• Ensure machine efficiency and timely completion of orders.
• Coordinate rake-off personnel and ensure load tags accuracy.
• Evaluate production quality and report concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory supplies such as glue.
• Follow Preventive Maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues and inform maintenance.
• Work with supervisor to meet production schedule.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work safely and in accordance with policies.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
