Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the machine, review production master, keep records.
• Ensure machine efficiency and timely completion of orders.
• Coordinate rake-off personnel and ensure load tags accuracy.
• Evaluate production quality and report concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory supplies such as glue.
• Follow Preventive Maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues and inform maintenance.
• Work with supervisor to meet production schedule.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work safely and in accordance with policies.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Folder/Gluer Operator – West Chester, OH

Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift. Pay: $26.49/hr + Shift Differential.

Summary

The Folder/Gluer Operator is responsible for the overall production of the machine and the quality of the work produced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the machine, including reviewing production master for pertinent information, keeping up with production records and reporting.
• Responsible for the efficiency of the machine and timely completion of orders.
• Responsible for coordinating rake-off personnel, as well as the accuracy of load tags and unitizing.
• Evaluate production quality; bring any concerns to the attention of the appropriate supervisor.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory supplies such as glue.
• Adhere to routine maintenance spelled out in the Preventive Maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues that may arise and inform maintenance department of possible equipment problems.
• Work with production supervisor to meet production schedule.
• Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Minimum
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Computer Skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Must have prior experience on the Folder/Gluer.

Benefits and Pay

The starting rate is $26.49 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. Benefits include short‑term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
