Job summary

LPC Personnel, Inc. seeks a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our fabrication team in Houston, TX. You will read blueprints, fit and weld metal components, and ensure assemblies meet specifications and production schedules.

You will perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding, measure with calipers and tapes, operate grinders and drills, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions
• Fit, align, and assemble structural and fabricated metal components
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required
• Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication
• Use grinders, cutting tools, drills, and other fabrication equipment
• Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment
• Inspect welds and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Make adjustments to ensure proper fit, alignment, and dimensions
• Perform basic welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
